Who is Yacht Party?
Yacht Party is the midwest's premier Yacht Rock tribute band, serving up all of the late 70’s and early 80’s smooth rock hits that audiences love at every port of call that they land in. A supergroup of members who have performed and toured all over the United States with various artists, they have launched out of the northeast Indiana music scene and set sail for wherever the groovy winds take them, bringing their signature 4-part harmonies and impressively proficient covers of yacht rock classics.
Nick Barbieri
Drums, Vocals
St. Louis native Nick Barbieri started playing drums at age 10 and has never stopped. He played in the St. Louis University Jazz Band and at the men’s basketball games including getting to play at Madison Square Garden for the NIT Final Four. He has played in original bands, cover bands, and tribute bands over the years. He has over 40 songs released under his own name, available across all digital platforms. He played for over 20,000 people first in 2016 with a Led Zeppelin tribute band and again in 2017 with a CCR tribute band and Eagles tribute band at Kansas City’s “Rock n Roll Dream Concert.” Most recently he was a founding member of the St. Louis band “Rock Opera” before moving to Fort Wayne in 2023 and starting Yacht Party.
Pat Hannon
Guitar, Vocals
Indiana native Pat Hannon grew up playing any instrument he could get his hands on. After getting a taste of the life performing around the midwest in a college band at Ball State University, Pat moved to Los Angeles and cut his teeth playing with every group with an opening in their roster that he could find. Most prominently, he was the US-based music director for Eurovision finalist Davinia Pace and toured with country singer Alice Wallace. Upon moving back to Indiana he started Meridian Moon, a top 40 wedding band, before joining Yacht Party.
Chris Faith
Bass, Vocals
Chris Faith has over 30 years of professional performance experience. A bass player since age 12, Chris also plays guitar, keys, and sings. He has played in bands all over the country, in every genre from jazz to surf rock. He graduated from the Georgia State University School of Music in Atlanta in 1992. his bands have opened for a wide variety of professional arrtists including Southern Culture on the Skids, Dick Dale, and Hootie and the Blowfish.
Jonathan Pass
Keys, Vocals
When it comes to smooth, soulful vibes, Jonathan is at the helm, delivering waves of tasty synth riffs and breezy keyboard magic for Yacht Party. Hailing from the port of Portland, OR, he set sail on his musical journey at the age of 6, navigating piano lessons as a wee deckhand. Before dropping anchor in the Midwest, Jonathan was rocking the Portland scene with a prog-rock crew, crafting epic, riff-filled voyages.
When he’s not charting smooth-sailing grooves with Yacht Party, you might catch him jamming with the Three Rivers Big Band or occasionally docking with The Sweetwater All Stars. Offstage, Jonathan’s passions drift toward woodworking, quality time with his first mate (his wife), and throwing the ball for their loyal labradoodle, Dwight.
